Wai Weng HEW

HEW Wai Weng is a research fellow at the Zentrum Moderner Orient, Berlin, working on a research project titled “Sites of Inclusion and Exclusion : New Muslim Places in Urban Malaysia and Indonesia.” He graduated from the Australian National University, where he submitted his PhD thesis, “Negotiating Ethnicity and Religiosity : Chinese Muslim Identities in Post-New Order Indonesia.”
