Elisabeth PEYROUX

Dr Elisabeth Peyroux is Research Director at the National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS), affiliated to the Research Institute on Contemporary Southeast Asia (IRASEC) and to CNRS@CREATE in Singapore. She holds a PhD in Human Geography from the University of Paris X-Nanterre and is a former Deputy Director of the research unit Prodig (2019-2024). Her recent research focuses on the role of digital technologies and Artificial Intelligence in urban governance and planning in Southern Cities (South Africa, Singapore, Malaysia). She is currently a Senior Visiting Research Fellow at the Asia Research Institute of the National University of Singapore (2026-2027).
