Sébastien ROUX

Dr. Sébastien Roux is a post-doc at the EHESS (Paris) and a member of the Iris—Institut de recherche interdisciplinaire sur les enjeux sociaux (CNRS-Inserrn- EHESS-Université Paris 13). In 2009, he defended his Ph.D in sociology under the supervision of Pr. Didier Fassin, entitled “The Economies of Prostitution : A Critical Sociology of Sex Tourism in Thailand”. He conducted ethnographic fieldwork in Bangkok between 2005 and 2007, with the support of IRASEC.
