Joseph SWINGLE

 

 

 

Dr. Joseph Swingle is an American lecturer in Sociology and Economics at Wellesley College in Wellesley, Massachusetts (USA). He completed both his MA and PhD in Sociology at Harvard University where his research focused on the economic and material well-being of single mothers and their children as well as the causes and consequences of children living apart from both parents. He is the author of several articles on these topics, including recent papers appearing in The American Prospect : “Without a Net : Whom has Welfare Reform Helped and Hurt ?” and “Welfare Redux”.
