Gungwu WANG

WANG Gungwu, CBE, is chairman of the East Asian Institute and university professor at the National University of Singapore. He is the author of more than thirty books, most recently Renewal : The Chinese State and the New Global History (2013). His research has focused on the history of the Chinese overseas and their relationship with China and the Southeast Asian states.
