Kevin WOODS

 

 

Kevin WOODS is currently a PhD candidate at the University of California, Berkeley. His dissertation research, following over a decade of research in Burma, focuses on how histories of political armed conflict shape contemporary agrarian political economies in (ex-)poppy areas of northern Burma along the Chinese border. His current research examines the intersections ot multiple layers of land conflicts and climate change mitigation strategies as Burma opens to global environmental regimes.
