Invitated by Kyoto University, IRASEC Director Claire TRAN visited Japan from 19 to 23 June 2019. She met with the Director of the Center of Southeast Asian Studies (CSEAS) Prof. Yoko Hayami and the Center's researchers for future collaborations. She spoke at a seminar on A Vietnamese Catholic family in the Red River Delta and beyond: The Story of Dr Nguyễn Xuân Mai, his ancestors and descendants.
