At the invitation of the Indonesian Heritage Society - IHS English-speaking section, Christine Cabasset participated on March 19, 2019 in the monthly Evening Lectures on the theme of "(Eco)Tourism: The good, the bad, and the future", alongside Krystyna Krassowska (guide, and Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society). With 195 people, the Erasmus Huis auditorium at the Dutch Embassy was full, testifying to the interest of the subject as well as the effectiveness of the organizing team, including Annemarie Hellmans and Birgitta Hogendoorn. Christine Cabasset's presentation on coastal tourism polarities focused on their formation and spatial and architectural reconfiguration in a tense environmental context, as well as on their sustainable development challenges.
