Roundtable on Sustainable Cities

On March 21, Christine Cabasset participated in a roundtable discussion on "The Sustainable City: A Necessary Response to Climate Change in Indonesia? "as part of the annual evening organized by the French-speaking section of the Indonesian Heritage Society - IHS. Through some fundamental themes such as the concepts of reduction/adaptation to climate change, risks and coastal zone management, pollution control, territorial governance, and innovations, the three speakers, surprise guest Hayuning Anggrahita (Dr. in geography, professor at Indonesia-UI University), Nicolas Bernier (engineer and consultant in sustainable development), and Christine Cabasset (Dr. in geography, IRASEC), discussed the environmental challenges facing urban areas and the technical and human means to face them. The speakers warmly thanked the organizers, Daria Maksimova and Elisabeth Blanchi.
