Historian, Rémy MADINIER is a research fellow at the CNRS (French National Centre for Scientific Research). Based in Jakarta and attached to IRASEC between 2008 and 2011, he is now in Central Southeast Asia and co-director of the Institute for the Study of Islam and Muslim World Societies.
