Conference in Singapore, november 4-5th 2015

CNRS has been active in Asia for over 40 years, nurturing collaborations initiated through a “bottom-up” process, interweaving trust and joint outputs with partners in Asia.

Now with over 130 projects, 4 liaison offices, 11 UMIs and 5 UMIFREs - among wich IRASEC for Southeast Asia - the need arises for a deeper connection across its permanent units, as well as with its research partners, either academic or from the industry.

The two-days AUR@SIA symposium (november 4-5th) at Singapore brought together the 17 units, correspondents from the CNRS and from partner organisations.

Alain Fuchs (President of CNRS), Patrice Bourdelais (Director of INSHS-CNRS), Patrick Nedellec (Director of European research and international cooperation) and directors of CNRS institutes attended the symposium and met with CNRS partners.
