Jérémy JAMMES participera le 1^er juin au panel « La Péninsule indochinoise, de la guerre à la paix » avec une présentation intitulée « Acteurs, diplomatie et soft power religieux au Vietnam depuis 1945 ». Le 2 juin, il sera modérateur avec Nicolas BADALASSI, Professeur d’histoire contemporaine à Sciences Po Aix, du panel « De l’ASEAN à l’Indopacifique : les mutations des enjeux géopolitiques ».

The seminar is jointly organized by the French Embassy in Thailand and the Research Institute on Contemporary Southeast Asia (IRASEC). It will gather experts from Thailand, the United Nations and France, providing a comparative approach to global issues of road safety and formulating concrete recommendations. It will include three round-table discussions and presentations led by experts from various Southeast Asian countries and France (magistrates and police officers), for a comparative approach to the context and challenges of road safety in Southeast Asia, and the formulation of concrete recommendations for improving road safety. The round tables will be held in English, with Thai interpretation.

Bringing together the key stakeholders in global health in Thailand and the region and focusing 1) on the impacts of climate change on human health in SEA and 2) on a better anticipation, prevention and preparation for public emergencies and climate change under the One health approach, this meeting will provide space for the region’s climate and health stakeholders — civil society, governments, academies, development and technical partners :

1. To be equipped with the latest information and updates on climate and health science, evidence and discourses ;
2. To develop regional collaborations on climate and health and identify common key issues, priorities and concerns ;
3. To co-create and agree on a multi-stakeholder action agenda on climate and health for the region and recommendations for regional mitigation policies.

L’IRASEC, le département d’histoire de l’art de l’Université Silpakorn (Bangkok), le Musée national d’art moderne – Centre Pompidou et les Amis du Centre Pompidou (Paris) organisent un symposium international sur le mécénat privé dans l’art moderne et contemporain en Asie du Sud-Est. À cet effet, des spécialistes de quatre pays différents se retrouveront le samedi 24 février au Bangkok Art and Culture Center pour évoquer cette question. Cette manifestation a le soutien de l’Ambassade de France en Thaïlande.
